<p>The main lodge was constructed in 1967 to the highest European standards as a sport fishing and hunting facility catering to the European markets. The lodge was acquired by the current owner in 2000 who implemented many improvements and additions throughout their ownership. Although capable of larger groups the lodge limits the skiing group to 10 guests.</p>
<p>The ski tenure in the Cariboo mountains covers some 1,444 square kilometres with elevations between 3100 ft to over 8500 feet and over 125 ski runs. The lodge is at an elevation of 2,400 feet. Annual snowfall can exceed 60 feet in the tenure area.</p>
<p>The main lodge has six ensuite guestrooms on the second floor, two ensuite guest suites on a third level and other guests are accommodated in adjoining cottages to the main lodge. The main floor of the lodge includes entry vestibule, living room, dining room, bar/lounge, office, washrooms, drying room, laundry and commercial kitchen.</p>
<p>Although Silvertip is presently operating as a heli-ski facility the potential exists to greatly expand the operating season to accommodate sport- fishing, and hiking and numerous other eco-adventures.Â</p>
<p>Airports at Williams Lake and 108 Mile are the main access terminals to Silvertip lodge, air travel is approximately 40 minutes</p>
